Putting on a drop or two of lubricating oil will solve the problem. The difficulty is getting the oil to the right place. The right place is the pin. Using a hammer and a nail, tap the bottom of the pin to raise it a bit. A few light taps on the nail on the bottom of the pin should do. Then, a drop of oil at the top where the pin is, and at each joint moving down. Work the door back and forth.Tap the pin back in place and wipe off any excess. Repeat for the rest of the hinges on the door. Most people do not get any oil into the top section because of the head of the pin preventing the oil from getting to the point where it is needed for the topmost section of the hinge. With the top of the pin raised a bit, oil will flow down around the pin within the hinge. One drop per hinge segment is a good rule of thumb if you use a heavy oil like a motor oil.
If you are really handy, pop out all of the pins and pull the door and use grease. It will take two people to pull the door. However, with axle or ball bearing grease instead of oil, it will not squeak again within our respective lifetimes.
Heavy oil is better than a light oil. WD40 will work, but not for long as it really isn't a lubricant so much as a solvent which liquifies some of the dried oil or grease which is already there. It will evaporate out again relatively quickly and the hinge will squeak again in short order. Light sewing machine oil will for a while, heavy oil wil last much longer and bearing grease will last the longest.

Don't laugh, but no matter why the doors are squeaking the best thing to do is spray the hinges or any other part of the door that's sticking with PAM. This is the same PAM you use to coat a pan before cooking. You can substitute any other spray cooking oil you have.

Go to your local store and get a little can of what is called 3in1 oil.
squirt this on the hinge pins on the back side of the door. You can also use spray that is for removing rust. If you want you can try putting any kind of cooking oil on the hinge pins also.

A drop or 2 of 3 In 1 Oil might help, or a quick spray of WD40, but don't miss and hit the walls or the door with it.

lay a towel on the floor underneath the hinges and pour oil on the hinges. The squeaky hinge gets the grease.

mineral oil or even veggie oil work too.
put a little on each hinge, and swing the door back and forth to work the oil into the crevices.

one little squirt of WD-40 and the squeak will be gone. If you don't like the smell, sprinkle a little baby oil on it, it works!
