How long have you been quit? I quit cold turkey for almost 4 years and then begin dating someone who smoked and I picked it right back up like I had never stopped. You may not want to judge people that can't stop until you now their story. being away from smokers helps in the quest to stop, but if you find yourself surrounded by smokers, you just might start back!

You have to REALLY want to quit. I don't know about dipping, but smoking, I had to stay home for about 2 weeks and hubby smoked outside. I didn't go anywhere near anyone who smoked during that time. I got rid of all ciggarettes, lighters, and ashtrays at home. Keep lots of Chewing gum, and healthy low fat snacks on hand to help with cravings. Good luck.

How do you stop? You realize that you'll die an early and painful death with problems like lung cancer, etc.
