Your Browser has been hijacked.
Is yours antivirus software up to date? How about your antispyware software?
There is a tool called HiJack This! but I cannot recommend it to novices. You may need to get professional help for your computer.

you have spyware. or a hijacker. download Hijack this on to a CD on a separate computer then run it. If you cant not all is lost. Boot the infected unit in to safe mode, holding down the F8 keu at boot up. select SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING. allow windows to boot. Down load Hijack this off google., and Windows defender off Microsoft.com. Reboot in normal mode install the programs downloaded.. open the start menu click RUN type REGEDIT. then under the the key HKEY//CURENT USER select software, Microsoft Windows, Current Version then RUN. thease are all programs that start when the computer starts. the hijack will be here. lok for browser helper or any helper. You want to do the same in HKEY Local Mach as well
Reboot in safemode then run the programs. Also while in safemode log on to antivirus.com and run an online scan
************CAUTION************
deleting the worng key in here Will cause windows to be corupted and possably unrepairable MAKE A BACK UP BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE IN THE REGESTRY

I am certain that you have a viruse...I just had the same stinking thing happen to me...none of the viruse or spyware programs helped it. The virus only worked on my OS, so I moved all my program files, reformatted the drive, and reinstalled Windows XP. There are some nasty viruses out there, to be sure.

You have a hijacker in your system.
Try running your virus program to see if it will find and kill it. If you have a bug ware program try it also. A program from Lavasoft called Ad-Ware SE Personal is a good program. Their maybe better out there for you if you have a preference.
