Here is my question is it possible that someone does not keep a buddy list of friends? a friend of mine said he does not add people to his YIM messenger. He said that it keeps from virus and it helps to keep a virus from attaching it self to your address book. Is it truly possible?

Possible, but stupid because it defeats the whole purpose of Instant Messaging.

If you just made an account, then there would be nobody on your list. It's possible, but it's pointless.

He just doesn't want to admit he doesn't have friends.

Just kidding.

I have no clue why. Nothing to do with viruses that I've heard of. Don't know.
