I'm not happy to age. I want to always look young and feel young.
But such is life. I suppose we are "lucky" if we get to live longer.
At the same time, when our bodies are old and worn out, and we
are suffering....perhaps, then we welcome death because we
will be set free. Hopefully....to Heaven.

Great question! I am happy to age, I am currently 39 and will be 40 in about 6 months and where many of my friends dread turning 40, I actually look forward to it.
I look at ageing as a gift and an opportunity to become a better me. The longer I am here, the more I can pay it forward. I think I get better with age because I am more comfortable in my own skin and am more true to myself. I am wiser and can give back to those around me who may benefit from the experiences I've had.
Like most things in life, ageing is all about perspective. You truly are as old as you feel and as long as you don't let societal norms dictate how you should feel or be as you age, you can really love growing older.

I am really happy to age. People always think I'm crazy when I say this. Why I want to age? Well because life is so long and beautiful and I want to live through everything; have a family, have a husband, by a house, travel. Just be wise with things. When you see seniors they're always so wise and intelligent. They've lived through many things and are calm with their reasonings; that is a beautiful state of mind. When you know you've done your part on this planet Earth, and now it is time for the next step.

Believe it or not about 24% of the world population is happy to age. These are kids under the age of 18 and they just couldn't wait to grow up so that they can:
1. Get done with high school
2. Be more physically developed.
3. Be able to drive or drink depending age limit in your country.
...and many other reasons.

I am aging and happy about it, but very slowly. When I tell people my age, they think I am 10 years younger. There was even one person who thought I was 20 years younger. I do have some graying going on and very dark circles under the eyes, but still no wrinkles, just some pimples. I guess I like aging because I still look young and no surgery of any kind.

Aging has what are known as rites of passage. at 12 most people have survived childhood. At 19, more have survived the terrible teens. At 25 a hint of wisdom enters ones life with a degree or ones first important job. At 35 most remember how childish they were last year. At 40 most seek sound investments. At 50 you have reached a milestone, the party crowd rarely get here. At 55 you get to relax a little and at 65 you have to relax a little. At 70 you had better relax and if you haven't relaxed by the time your 80 you have to share what you know with anybody who will listen.

Nobody is happy to age. The only thing to do is enjoy life as much as you can and then you will feel great no matter how old you are.

I'm happy about it. I look and feel better now at 30 than I did at 18. The older I get the less I'm willing to put up with. And I mean from everyone, with myself right at the top of that list. I become more and more comfortable in my skin. It's quite satisfying.

I'm happy to age because with age (at least for me) comes knowledge. Looking back on when I was younger I'm already amazed with how much I changed. ^^

I'm happy to age because it's too boring to be young all the time.
