my neighbor tags along for shopping and eating out, but invited to family functions she accepts to go then?

later she doesn't show up. days later she says she's sorry couldn't make it. this is the 3rd time & lies alot. should I accept her apolgy or find another friend?

Don't invite her out for shopping and eating out anymore. Maybe she just doesn't like being around alot of people. But if she lies alot she is not a good friend, I would suggest you find another.
