Is high frequency EM radiation responsbile for what we sense as "solid matter"?
I was just thinking about this lately..There is a whole range of EM radiation. As the frequencies go up, so does the energy levels.

Radio, then light, then UV, then X-rays, then Gamma rays, then cosmic rays, and beyond?? Each with a smaller wavelength, and higher energy level, capable of penetrating right through more and more matter. Eventually, this energy could probably go right through a large celestial body (cosmic rays?)

If these high frequency rays form standing waves, then maybe this is what we refer to as matter, and why we can convert matter to energy and vice versa.

If we speculate that gravity is caused by these rays, maybe the idea of a gravity sheild is possible...maybe this is what is happening at the core of the earth? And why its so hot? Cosmic rays being concentrated there?
These are speculations, but its an interesting line of thought.
Any creative answers/thoughts?

That question is a little higher in it's frequency than I usually operate at. Down here in the south we are still trying to see if the apple really fall down instead of up. We usually don't take anybodies word for much if they don't live here. You all know how it is.

Wow - and all this time when the people around thought you were snoozing, your brain was getting ready to explode.
High frequency EM radiation really can't be what we consider solid matter. All of the waves you refer to are both detectable and have the same characteristics - just smaller wavelengths as the frequency goes up with varying energy levels. We can detect no such phenomenon in a piece of granite, for instance. The fact that matter and energy is interchangeable does not, in any way, indicate that the matter is EM radiation in nature. No electrical or magnetic detection certainly doesn't eliminate an object from being matter. Furthermore, the energy of EM waves, even at unheard of frequencies, would not nearly explain the energy levels evident in E=MC2.

the position to commence... the line "if guy advanced from monkeys, why are there nonetheless monkeys?" is a popular line of ignorant anti-technology creationists. there is too a lot incorrect with that to bypass into, except for this: If dogs are domesticated wolves, why are there nonetheless wolves? Scientists have under no circumstances made a fact about "certain chimpanzees concentrated for mutation" or "pinpointed elements" for "cosmic radiation". All existence in the international does adventure a consistent mutation fee with the aid of historic past radiation, which contains cosmic rays. that's not pinpointed. some mutations are repaired with the help of our own bodies. some propagate to the subsequent era. some make no huge difference, they're impartial. some are deadly, they don't propagate to destiny generations. some reason a substitute contained in the function of a few protein which will or may no longer prepare to be positive. that's an similar fee everywhere. No pinpointing. No, human beings did not evolve from chimpanzees. human beings and chimps and different apes (tailless primates) have an undemanding ancestor. and under no circumstances monkeys both.

Simple answer: no.

Matter and gravity are quite different from electromagnetic radiation.
