Yes they do but it is like gasoline the companies know women need tampons and wont quit buying them because of price

its about 8 dollars for a 36 count of scented tampax pearl tampons. yeah its a little expensive.. in my opinion at least.

Considering what they're made of, and how often you have to change them...yes, I do think they're too expensive. But, they're convenient (and you can ride a horse and go swimming when you use them!, lol), so women keep buying them (myself included).
