from tsa.gov: "Laptop computers, cellular phones, iPods, and other portable electronic devices are still allowed on board an aircraft. These items must still be screened at the security checkpoint."

I have brought my camera on many flights. Just don't bring any liquid of any kind.

Now you can not bring any LIQUIDS, GELS OR ANY THING LIKE THAT. You also can not bring electronics. So no camera.

I think you can only take money/passports and any prescribed medicines so you wouldn`t be able to take your camera.
