Is there anything useful I can do with shredded paper?

you could always use it make animal statue
mix very warm , water paper and white glue (Elmer’s)
then use a skeleton of wire mesh to corer it with paper then paint it.
many people do face mask or recycle bin or pen holder or small animal figures for their shelves

If you have anything fragile to mail out in a box you can stuff it with shredded paper to keep it safe from harm. If you have enough of it you can also stuff them in pillows.

1- I use it for packing breakable items.

2- the humane society uses it in the puppy stalls.

3- It's great for stuffing white plastic bags to make the heads for Halloween ghosts. You can hang them from the trees and porch,etc.

Your local animal shelter may be able to use it for animal bedding. Small amounts can also be added to compost or used for vermiculture (raising worms).

Umm, maybe recycling it. Or using it to stuff bagged gifts? Or for easter "grass" in baskets, or for any package you might need to send out and need extra "stuffing". :-)

My vet uses it for cat litter.

You could also use it when shipping packages thru the mail.

You can use it for mulch but you need to cover it with soil

in maine we compact it in bales at most recycling centres
