It's called anxiety - and it's real. I know, because I have lived with it most of my life. But there's a better way to go through life (wish I'd have realized that sooner!) find a good counselor - they can truly help you to stop worrying! Give yourself exactl;y 15 minutes a day to worry, and no more than that- set a time, like 9:00 - 9:15 p.m. Make a list of those things you need to do tomorrow, before going to bed tonight. I mean a written list. This will prevent you from worrying in your sleep - causing you to lose sleep. You know worrying doesn't solve anything - solutions do. I was a constant worrier - but I've been reformed, and it's a wonderful freedom to be free of worry!

Why do you worry so much, there are many factors to consider. Whats your age? Are you in a single parent home? You say you worry for no reason. You may be a pessimist prone to worry. Or it may be something more. Is money tight around the house? Is your mom's health a problem? What is it about money that concerns you? To little money to pay bills, buy food or not enough in general? What causes you concern about your mom? Does she drink heavily, uses drugs, over works? Or are you worrying that something good may turn bad with drastic affect? Its normal to be concerned about events in our lives but don't let them paralyze you from enjoying life. We all try to prevent a bad thing from happening and to correct it if we cant prevent it while minimizing the damage as we recover. Its OK to plan ahead for disasters but don't live daily in fear because that disaster may never come; and if it does at least you have a plan for dealing with it.

You might suffer from general anxiety disorder. It might be a side effect of medications or street drugs or an overactive thyroid. You might need medication that you refuse to take, are unaware of or can't afford. You could be an abuse survivor but never connected your anxiety to your past or present abuse. You might live in a war zone or dangerous neighborhood. You may have been threatened and have real reasons for worrying. You may have serious financial problems due to credit card abuse, gambling, drugs, extreme poverty or a husband, father or son who has those problems. You may be hiding a secret you dare not tell anyone or you may have religious anxieties concerning your relationship with God. You, or someone you love or depend on, may be terminally ill. As you can see, there are endless reasons why you might be nervous all the time.

Listen to the song "Sunscreen" by Baz Lurhman. It says that you shouldn't worry; well, you can worry, but know that worrying is about as affective as trying to solve an algebra problem by chewing bubblegum.

In other words, don't sweat the small stuff, and that you should listen to the song "Float On" by Modest Mouse. It means that you should just let things go as they may and that they will sort themselves out.

I hope that I helped you.

There has to be some reason, it's just one you haven't comfortably admitted to yourself. Some underlying fear is nagging at you and once you come to terms with it, you can likely rid yourself of it for good, or at least get it under control.
Good luck.

many people suffer from excessive anxiety.
Often it passes as we get older-it did for me !
If not

there are medicines your doctor can give you to relieve
whats called General anxiety dissorder

They make you sleepy at first but that passes

Try deep breathing also !

Try that first

then get a good book on anxiety to explain it

We are programmed to fear and worry about everything, you need to
re-program your mind. Start by understanding that you have the power to control your thoughts and go from there.
