what is the soonest a person would feel nauseated after conception?

Perfect timing! I just got done watching a Discovery Channel special on pregnancy, and they said that you can feel food cravings and nausea as soon as 8 days after conception. I believe it, too, because a friend of mine didn't even know she was pregnant, thought she had the flu, was puking and everything just a week after she had sex. Turned out to be morning sickness, but it was another 2 weeks before she found that out!!

wow, that was really cool info about the discovery channel. but for most women, it is somewhere in the 3-5 week range. i thought i had some kind of flu - not nausea, but i felt yucky. i went home from work and took a test - viola! i was three weeks along. i didn't start to get really sick until i was more like 5 and six weeks. of course, then it didn't let up for months ... if you feel sick and think "conception" may have occured very recently, you may want to wait a bit longer before you stress! good luck!

It can happen at any time but the "usual" is between 4-6 weeks.

And some never do get morning sickness.

I have had morning sickness starting at 12 days past ovulation (was charting and trying) and as late as 12 weeks.
It all depends on the woman and the pregnancy....they are all different
