well i just put it in a computer and the computer still works... i'm assuming you have to have ram to run a computer? =D

If you see any broken metal contacts or exposed metal traces, you are DONE.

99% it wont be usable anymore coz mostly it cuts the circuitry of the system already. Unless u cud find a way to remount the part back to the original location with pins on the right location or landpad.

It depends on what part of it chipped off. I would really have to see it to have an idea. You can bring it to a computer repair shop and ask a technician about it. I doubt they would charge for something like that, but ask first. Good luck!

Most Likely it is not going to work again because information runs through the entire stick of RAM.
