I have been asked:
what are some reasons for being bachelors/splinster? (it could be out of choice or not out of choice. Also I am not refering to people who choose not to wed)

Do they have a higher propensity to homo/bisexual (as many of my straight guy friends thinks this is the case)? (I think not but i would like to hear from you).

Well heck, since there is only one state in the US where we can get married to each other, and most of us prefer not to marry the opposite sex, most of us end up being bachelors or spinsters.

So, yeah, that would put more homosexuals in the bach/spin cycle than in the the married category, right?

I suppose technically speaking, you could argue that gay people are bachelors/spinsters, although these are rather quant terms.

Perhaps in the past when being gay was so frowned upon or even illegal, gay people were forced to be celebate and more likely to be bachelors/spinsters.

I'm a bachelor but not by choice...the right lady still hasn't come along yet and I certaintly do not think that this makes me more prone to homosexual tendencies.

In the end you will be unhappy and unfulfilled. It's a sad end. Don't waist the warmth of a relationship with another person. You will grow to regret it and hate it. Emptiness.
