America does whatever Israel tells it to do, and Britain does whatever America tells it to do. That is pretty much the strongest superpowers of the world.

I respectfullly disagree - Israel does not control me and it does not control America. Also, Britain and America do not make up the world.......France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Russia, New Zeland, Switzerland.....etc. Israel controls its own.

That's totally patently false. America and Brittain don't do whatever Isreal tells it to do. We are in an alliance with Israel. Right now militant brainwashed haters are shooting off rockets killing innocent people. And what is all the countries reaction, except for decent countries like American and Britain? They say Israel is out of line for trying to bomb Hezbulla positions, when they are hiding in people's houses. Where is the sanity left in the world? Palestine was part of the British empire before they handed it over to Israel, because so many Jews died and suffered in the holocaust they felt that they should do what is right, and give that land to the people that it belongs to, Israel.

Israel doesn't control the world. Fundamentalist crusaders promote Israel because the crusaders want Jesus to come back for the Second Coming and the Apocalypse. According to the Book of Revelation, Israel plays an important part in this and has to be there for Jesus to come back. These crusaders do not care about human suffering like people being disfigured in terrorist attacks or children getting killed by fighter planes. They only care about their own souls.
I think this is what is meant by "Compassionate Conservatism" They conserve their compassion for themselves.

Historybuff answered that "Israel certainly doesn't control me". If Historybuff pays taxes, he (or she) has been forced to contribute part of the three billions we have sent Israel for the last 30 years. My wife and I have complained to our leaders about this for over 20 years, to no avail. Our rubber-stamp Congress approves this without any national public debate every year. And guess what?
As soon as the dust settles on this "cease-fire", our Congress will quickly and quietly ram through an emergency funding bill for several extra billions to pay for all the ammo used by Israel's F16s, tanks, heavy artillery and troops. If Historybuff knows how to avoid paying for this travesty, let the rest of us taxpayers know.

No one controls the world, per se. The Israelis are mostly reactionary and enjoy the support of western democracies because they are themselves a democracy.
As to where the real power lies - that is in corporate board rooms and back-room deals with politicians. Money is power, and right now the US has the most. Don't be fooled into thinking the chess pieces and the players are one in the same.

So you think you figured it all out.New Jersey is bigger than Israel, I'm sure the US is shaking in it's boots. In Israel is Megiddo valley ( Armageddon ) the place where the final battle will be fought before the end.
If the Arab countries laid down their weapons , there would be no more violence. If Israel laid down their weapons there would be no more Israel.
I have heard the voice of prejudice against Israel and I am ashamed of my countrymen that follow ignorance so willingly.

Yeah you're right. Israel is forcing hezbollah and the PLO to attack it. Israel is forcing Iran to supply hezbollah with missiles so that israeli citizens can live in bomb shelters by the millions.

i think no country is powerful....no one is above everything...we cant control....People do this for popularity sake....but deep within they just dont kow that chaos is reborn....why dont they stay calm and help those less fortunate finish school and get a job...that is the real meaning of a superpower and a strong country...t.c.
