well if you are taking care of the newborn it will be harde at first getting up every two hours to make bottles and dealing with the crying trying to figure out exactly what each cry means, but other than that it will be a great experience to watch them grow and discover new things. If your just in the house with the newborn ait shouldnt be that bad youll probably just have to get used hearing the crying in the middle of the night.

it won't be so bad. my lil niece came to stay with my family when she was first born. i thought it would distract me and that i wouldn't get much work done, etc....i was completely wrong. at this age, they sleep a lot, and wake up just to get fed, changed, and then they stay up for a lil while and go back to bed....infants sleep about 20 hours a day. i don't think your sister/brother will make you do much for your nephew, and your nephew probably won't sleep in the same room as you. if he does, he'll wake up at night crying, but if you're not in the same room, you'll be fine. don't worry! you'll soon find yourself loving your lil nephew and wanting to hold him. if you're lucky, his parents will allow you. my older sister was so protective, i only got to carry my niece like 2 minutes a day until she was a month old. it won't be so bad, and you can learn from having him around.

So you aren't happy about having your nephew living with you? They can change a lot in your life but they are a joy to have around too.

Up every 2-4 hours crying. Stinky diapers. Burping up stuff. But let me tell ya, it's all worth it when you see them smile or laugh at you. Be supportive and try to help out as much as possible. It's tough to be a mom and we can always use the help. Have fun honey! Kids are wonderful!

wonderful, very loud tho! you will have to do a lot of stuff to help out the momma! momma will be grumpy probably at times, just cause lack of sleep, especially if breast feeding, cause you can't do that for her, that is the on;y thing that SHE must do, that none of you can do for her. Breastfed babies eat more often, until they learn to properly latch on and suck , cause they get enough to put them asleep, but not fill its empty tummy! You will probably be left babysitter, whil momma is takinga shower, and taking her naps and stuff! I hope that the baby is good and healthy, and I think you are a girl i can't remember your screen name, but congrats auntee!!

stressful loud sometimes they mostly sleep as newborns unless their hungry dirty butt or in some kind of pain but look on the bright side they will smile at you laugh and look at you with those little baby eyes so just think positive and hide in your room when it gets stressful or to loud good luck bye
