How do I get a cell phone with bad credit and I would not have to pay alot.?

i have t-mobile pre-paid, and you dont get very many minutes for what you pay - usually about 50 minutes for 10 bucks and like 125 minutes for 25 bucks. so its not really a good deal.

i'm about to get metropcs, its only in certain cities though i think - but its not paid by the minute, its paid by the month. and the minutes are unlimited, you just pay one monthly fee. so the bill is the same even if you use just 300 minutes one month, and then 5000 minutes the next month. also there is no contract. so if you dont have the money one month, you just dont pay and you just dont have service - it doesnt go on your credit. one drawback is that you have to shell out at least 100 bucks even to get a basic no frills phone - but there is no initial activation fee and right now the first month is free.

if its available in your area, i'd say go for it. if not, you're stuck with pre-paid.

You can get Tracfone or other pay as you go cell phone at many 7-11 type stores or Wal Mart. Low as $20 with 40min of call time.

My credit isn't that great. I got one through U.S cellular. I pay $50. a mo. I had to put down a $100 security deposit, which I get back cause it has been almost a year.( this is in the U.S.A of course) So, there you go. I have 1000 minutes, free in coming calls, and nights and weekends all for $50. You can work them.

What about a pay as you go phone? Like Cingular's Go Phone . . .

You are pretty much limited to prepaid phones like TracPhone. T-Mobile also has simular phones.

get a prepaid phone u can buy them at walmart. then u have 2 buy a calling card which can also be bought at walmart
