It will be extremely hard, but you have to let him cry it out. Kids about that age can really start to play you. They know what they're doing, and if you let the same pattern continue you'll still be having problems a year from now.
It's going to be more hard on you than it will be on your child, even if it doesn't seem like it at the time.

We had the same problem with my son I just had to let him cry it out.. it was the hardest thing......

may sound cruel put him in his crib and let him cry this will probably only last about a week if you dont give in.
