That he likes the style of jewelry in his ears. Double ear piercing for guys is nothing new, many men wore earrings in 2 ears. Look at pirates and even tribal men from around the globe. Some of it is ceremonial, and some is a form of acupuncture, while some is simply for looks. Its actually an interesting topic to read up on!

Ear piercing or any other piercing for that matter doesn't have any meaning anymore, except that the person likes piercings.

I don't think it means anything anymore. It used to be said that anybody with their ear pierced was gay.. Then it was cool for the LEFT ear to be pierced, but if the RIGHT ear was pierced - that was gay. Now you can pierce your nipples and your noodle, and it doesn't have any meaning. THEY STOLE THE MEANINGS!!!
