He stands for democracy and freedom even in the face of so much public outcry from liberals, one of the most advanced examples of invertebrate life.

Sgt. Rob is back. Believe me ole' Bobby boy, I have many times defended the work that American Soldiers are doing in Iraq, and have indicated many time that the kinds of scandals we see publicized are not characteristic of the general military population.

I do know though, that if you take a young person with unmanaged insecurities and some latent resentment and give him a gun, he becomes a nut job like yourself, talking about the power that is justly his.

In as much as mine and many other people's hard work pays the taxes that fit the bill for your wages, you ought to be less of a little pr*ck.

In March of 2005, George Bush, Vicente Fox, and Paul Martin came together to launch the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. Integration of the three countries are into one North America Union. G. Bush signed the papers without Congress or the American peoples knowledge. Then he went to great lengths to keep the news from the people. Only recently has the news began to seep out to the public. The three countries are to become one. No borders. Etc. One word for George Bush is PURE DECEPTION ----------- www.worldnetdaily.com www.humanevents,com

He's a puppet, not a hero.
It took him WAY to long to take action after 9/11 and then he invaded the wrong country and captured the wrong person (oopps that was Daddy's enemy). He has still failed to capture his objective, Bin Laden. We are in a country that does not want us there and doesn't respect us to maintain peace by killing and being killed. Meanwhile at home, he lets people flounder in the flood waters of Katrina and not sending emergency aid quickly (oh yeah, because most of our troops were defending another countries freedom). If we were attacked on Home Soil, we wouldn't have the troops to defend ourselves.
The economy has not been this bad since the depression (almost but not quite there yet) and he blames the foriegn countries on the gas prices when the US can make it domestically. He has interest in the oil business....check his holdings and what he will have when he gets out of office. He has cut funding on trying to find alternate sources of fuel, cut education and for a Christian man has managed to take God out of everything. It is almost illegal to mention God these days - and yes, he allows this. He is wrecking Social Security and the elderly are in worse shape than ever, with all of our retirements and pension threatened.
I believe he will go down as the worst President in History and a lot of historians believe that too.

I dont think he is an hero for the following reasons

1) He supports dictators in middle east such as saudi arabia, Egypt, Pakistan etc which is the source of discontent in that part of the world . How can he be an american hero when he supports such regimes.

2) He plays with people fear and manipulates them. I agree we have threats from terrorist but that doesnt mean we bomb iraq with depleted uranium. Btw no evidence has been found between Al-Qaeda and Saddam Govt. Neither did he found the WMD that he claimed was present in Iraq.
He went to war to profit his defense contractor buddies, for oil greed, and to divert people's attention from real issues like Medicare, Medicaid, social security, rising health care cost.

3) He screwed up the US foreign policy by going against the UN .Now we dont have any friends left neither in europe nor middle east.People everyehere see americans with distrust.

He made a joke of american values with scandals like Abu-Ghuraib and his secret prisons

Any person well versed in the values with which this country has been founded would realize his evil intent.

peace be on all

A hero is someone who places their life in the line of fire before sending someone else.

Talk to someone who actually SERVED their country.

Bush sent men after a legitimate target - Bin Laden. He never finished the job and when it became clear that he could not without a LOT more planning and work, the tried to go after what he thought would be an easy target -Hussein.

He forgot the lessons of history - a war of liberation in a nation that is not trying to free itself from tyranny will make the "liberators" into occupiers - and he had no idea on what to do once he got in.

He took a HUGE surplus of capitol and turned it into a deficit. Men are dying for no clear reason in Iraq and the animal who killed Americans on 11-Sep-01 is still free and breathing.

So is he a hero? No - he is not. He never faced a bullet and never put himself on the line at any point in his life.

I read all the other comments and can't even begin to take issue with them.

While our President may not be a "great" American Hero, he is a hero holding his own - in spite of much effort to thwart him - personally as well as professionally. I admire him b/c he has access to so much deliberate and devastating power and yet does NOT use it! I honestly doubt many posting here could say the same of themselves - I know I couldn't.

Forces are at work all the time, some evil, and this one MAN - President George W. Bush has to look at and understand them regardless of how odd, different, alien or bizarre they may be. Where did any one train him for that part of the "job" as president??

I ADMIRE HIM!

No, people have been poisoned to hate liberals yet they are far better for the people in general, Republicans are pro-business and screw over working class families whilst Democrats talk big to change things for the better, but rarely carry through there promises and often make things worse. In fact, the great American heroes these days are the people who put there life on the line each day, whether its soldiers, police officers or firefighters.

I had a dream that one day I awakened and found that all the pointy head conservatives had all left America to enjoy a vacation into the mess that you have created and supported in Iraq. So that all of you can rejoice when you receive upon your arrival flowers, music and a welcoming committee and dancing in the streets.
The day is almost here (there) when you will wish that Sadam was back in control to bring about order. Yes I HAD A DREAM!!!!!!
When you are told to jump off of a cliff I expect that will happen too!

here is an examlpe of a great american hero......WASHINGTON - While the British terror suspects were hatching their plot, the Bush administration was quietly seeking permission to divert $6 million that was supposed to be spent this year developing new homeland explosives detection technology. Congressional leaders rejected the idea, the latest in a series of steps by the Homeland Security Department that has left lawmakers and some of the department's own experts questioning the commitment to create better anti-terror technologies
