I think that sex education should start in every country in junior high.

Families and religious figures should also be more open to sex education and sexual discussions.

I would say junior high but in the Philippines, there is no junior high. After elementary is high school so I believe it should start in the first year of of high school.

Unfortunately, because the Philippines is pre-dominately catholic and the church basically has all the say in the country, I really doubt they will be having sex education in school. Although it would be ideal since the country is over populated and you got poverty, lack of jobs(income) and corruption in the government on top of that....

I think the Philippines should do like China and have a 1 baby law...but thats another topic.

Why not.? Some people think it a taboo to talk about sex. So of course kids being kids they will try and find out for themselves. Just because some are uncomfortable about it doesn't mean that the issue will go away. So figure it best to at least teach the kids a basic understanding, They have the questions in their minds already, may as well answer them.

YES. because they will learn the pros and cons of what could happen. Although in the Philippines they do not attend school as long as we do in America, it might seem harsh, but they go right to high school and skip what a preteen would learn. It would be a benefit to the welfare of the country.

Yes, it should start early and promote safe sex. High school is too late since a lot of kids don't even go to high school.

yes, all kinds of education is good. the only problem is how fast is their ability to understand it or is it just a waste of time and energy. but i believe children will always adjust to the pace. so its going to be ok

sex education only in high school because graders are still too young. focus on the basics first like reading, writing and arithmetic in elementary.

I do. It has to be taught in a way where children finds it interesting if not then I don't see a point to all of this.
