He's got better numbers than Joe Namath. And Joe is in the Hall Of Fame.
But unless he becomes "Broadway Steve McNair," the answer is no.

I don't think McNair has Hall of Fame numbers. I am glad you asked this question.
My daughter has watching sports since she wore a Dorsett jersey when she was 6 yrs old and she would stay up past 10 p.m. at night to watch the NBA on tape delay. My grown daughter and I always have this discussion/argument where she says there no more loyalty in sports I inform (historically) her that there has never been any loyalty in sports especially by the owners.
It was a d*** shame the way the Titans treated McNair like he was property. At least because of players rights he was able to go to the Ravens. I love V. Young but now I hate the Titans. I am glad the pendulum is in favor of the players.
Before 1975 think of all the players that were traded in all of sports with no say so.

Steve McNair's occupation stats are very equivalent to Troy Aikman's who replaced into inducted into the corridor of repute in 2006, truly McNair threw some more effective touchdowns than him and had a higher qb score. Granted Aikman has the Superbowl rings I nonetheless imagine Steve McNair is worth of being a corridor of famer.

I respect Steve Mcnair as a player and as a person but i dont think he will evere be in the hall of fame when you look at his stats he realy isnt a very good quarterback i think Vince can totaly take McNairs job in many ways I think they should trade McNair to the Jets so the jets will be improved with hime on the team and i think if Vince took over the Titans would be super bowl winners.

He had a few good years, but he is in no way worthy of the HOF. He was tough, but there are alot of tough players that don't get in. You have to do something special in order to be a HOF'er, and he hasn't done it. He made it to one super bowl, but lost. He won a co-mvp, mostly due to his toughness, not his QB ability.

Yep first time around.
As of the end of the 2005 season he has over 27,000 yards passing and over 3,000 rushing. So I would say so.

No. I think he's one of the toughest qb's ever, but he doesn't have the numbers or the championships to get into the hall.

Hell no. He's quite a competitor, but he's definitely not Hall of Fame material...

He's a first ballot first year of eligibility absolutely. (Isn't the waiting period 7 or eight years?)
