Bye love you. Too friends and family. I tell them I love them cause it might be the last time I talk to them. Never know what can happen in just a few hours.

Yes, I do say "bye"; saying goodbye is a closure to the conversation. Saying "alright" isn't a closure word and just hanging up comes across as rude even if you don't intend to be.

I do say something to let the other person know that I have finished and I'm hanging up. If it's obvious I just hang up. It's the matter of communication. I would feel offended if somebody disconnects half way of my speech.

Yes i say "bye" or "c ya". Unless we were in a fight and they just ticked me off, then I hang up right in the middle of when they are talking.
