Do you sew? If so make them barley bags for their tired necks and backs at the end of a work day.. Sew a simple long rectangular bag..........fill it half with Barley....and sew closed..There awesome.......put them into the microwave for a minute or two....rest on your neck.......ah!!!!!!!! Very inexpensive..easy to make....you can choose some nice fabric personal to each assistant,,,or keep it simple and cheaper and buy a nice neutral fabric....soft cotton flannel works well. When complete....put them into a nice giftbag with explanation as to what it is as that you handmade them with love...etc..... Should be very much appreciated! Hope your up for the challenge...very cheap and quick to make...and very, very practical... bye the way you can also store them in the freezer and there a perfect ice pack also......wouldnt be without mine......have some in different sizes for different parts of the body etc...and for little 'boo boos.'...etc.... Merry Christmas...... ( Magic Bags as there sold in the store...sell for a good $25... you can make your's for a couple of bucks....) God Bless...L.Butler

You could have a calendar sent to them. Although it sounds kind of lame, if you pick a nice one that is also functional, you will see them use it at work. Candles are also rather inexpensive and make nice gifts...

A nice CD with your favorite Christmas songs. It will get them something to remember you by. Choose pieces that really mean something to you. You may insert a little note for them to check this out. I did that one year when we had a Christmas party.

One woman in my office makes little jar gifts for everyone with layered ingredients for something to cook. If you don't want to do something sweet like cookie mix, you could do a soup mix or something.
