Thats EXACTLY how I am. Why would I answer if I don't feel like talking. I am notorious for not answering the phone. I know it may not always be the most polite thing to do, but hey, if I feel like talking I will answer or call you back when I do. I don't know if people give you as much crap for it as they do me, but I try to be honest. I am a busy person and I cherish my "quiet" time and solitude when I get the rare opportunity to enjoy some. Also, to be honest, a lot of times people call me to complain complain complain and I just get sick of hearing about it, so if I expect a certain type of conversation from someone and I am not up for it I avoid it. Glad I am not the only one who feels this way

Yes but my boyfriend worked for T-mobile and could tell when I hit ignore on my phone. It will ring twice and go strait to voicemail. Not many people know that but I guess it's with every phone. Now I just answer and talk only a minute.

I also just have a cell phone, if I don't want to talk, I just don't answer it. if I don't know the phone number or someone blocks it, I will not answer it either. I keep my phone on until eight or nine at night and then I turn it off for the night. let them talk into the answering machine, if I want to I call back, if not I say to bad I never got your call, if they don't talk into the machine, o well

If you don't want to talk to a particular person, tell them you would love to, but you have an appointment and will call them later, then say goodbye and hang up. You'll be on the phone for seconds. Remember, you're in charge of the phone, and you have to pay the bill. This way , you cut down on your bill and you're not being rude.

Dont answer thats the beauty of caller ID, answer only when u feel like it. If it becomes a real bother then let the person know that u dont appreciate them calling soooo much, let them know it bothers u. If they can respect ur wishes then they are worth being friends with, if they cant, hang up on them permanently, if u know what I mean!!

Absolutely ignore it when you don't want to talk. That's what voice mail is for. Otherwise, you lose time, get annoyed, get inconvenienced, are testy on the phone, etc. But if they leave a message and it is someone important to you, check voice mail to make sure it wasn't critical. You will soon know which friends leave trivial messages and which only leave good info.

Ignoring calls is a bit rude.... but I may do it every once in a while.
What I do frequently is turn off the cell phone altogether and then check my voice mail inbox when I'm in the mood to talk again.

I totally ignore my calls (thank God for caller id) Infact I ignore my calls so much it surprises my friend when I actually do pick up the phone... they might even be a little disappointed thinking they would just be able to leave me a message.

I ignore people who call me all of the time; I let the voice mail pick up and then when I am in the mood to talk, I call them back.

Yes, I do ignore phone calls when I don't want to talk. If it is all that important they can leave a message when I don't pick it up.
