If the Iraq war removed zero WMD from enemies, turned a huge amount of US military power away from Bin Laden, and resulted in over 30,000 Arabs needlesly dying, would these factors make the US more or less a target of attack than if there had been no Iraq warr

Oh the war on terror or whatever has created more terrorists because we have made people mad. What is bush thinking? He is friends with the bin laden family, so why would he want to find him anyway? We are less safe and have just made more people hate us because we created more terrorists. When we attack a country that did nothing to us we create enemies, but who said this administration would make sense. People in Afgainistan are guarding the pipeline not looking for bin laden. This administration is twisted. Listen to Air America if you want to have a clue about the truth about what is going on.

The bush admin is full of lies and decipt.

Some WMD's were found in Iraq, in spite of what many may think. However, that is not the real motive for our involvement in that war. Between the 10 years after the 1st Iraqi war until the begining of the next one (this one), most days the Saddam regime had standing orders to shoot at Allied planes enforcing the UN sanctioned "no fly zone." They did so, most days. That in itself is justification for the war, not to mention Saddam's other violations of the cease fire agreement for the 1st war. When we speak of the lives lost, let us never forget the thousands of people (political 'enemies' and Kurds) that Saddam tortured, gassed and murdered. How many more would have died had he been allowed to continue?

First of all, if Clinton had gone after Ben Laden when he was warned about him we wouldn't be in this predicament, but he chose to ignore it. Secondly, there were weapons of mass destruction and I believe they will soon pop up being used by other countries surrounding Iraq who hid them. After all we gave Saddam enough time waiting for the UN to make up their minds to move the dang things to other places.
Whether we went into Iraq or not would not have made a difference. Prior to our going into Iraq we were attacked and we will continue to be attack because we take the side of Israel and do not reject them.

Iraq is a not so much a bad mission, as it is a mission that was undertaken at the worst possible time...

3,000 died... we should kill those responsible before worrying about the other "bad guys" out there...

we're just giving terrorists more time to plan and execute an attack...

There would have been plenty of time to go after Saddam after we got Osama...

Well lets see.

BEFORE
Saddam was a tyrant with NO weapons of mass destruction at his disposal, he had both good and bad relations with the US over time and his wars with Iran kept him out of our hair.

AFTER
Now we have a country in civil war, which is a terrorist breeding ground where Americans die every single day and it's costing us Billions of dollars in taxpayer funds.

I think Iraq us very horrible for US security.

I would say they are now more of a target.
Bravo to all the people who voted Bush into power. If you took to the time to watch the first debate back in 2000, you would have easily seen that he was a war monger.

gee, i don't know - do you think killing innocent people by the thousands, destroying the civil infrastructure of a nation, helping loot their priceless antiquities, and unleashing religious civil war in their land is really enough to make people mad at us?

The invasion, occupation, and colonialism in Iraq made the US and whole world much much much less secure. Thanks Bush for your personal, illegal vendetta against Sadaam. You sukk.
