There are a couple of sites on the internet, maybe more, that will allow you to build your pc to specs. You pick and choose what you want it to contain. My last two computers were purchased in that fashion and I am still using both.

I will tell you though that there are a lot of choices of hardware that you have to select from so you have to do some research. And it will not be the cheapest computer that you can buy, but it will be the most satisfying.

Here is where I purchased my last computer from. I had a great time configuring it, every single piece.

OK, I don't want to sound too much like like the ANSWER GUY or anything like that, BUT everybody has different needs, based on levels of skill, and how much you can afford. There are other factors like size. If I were seriously going to shop around for a computer, I would go to COMP USA, BEST BUY, and CIRCUIT CITY. Then I would call DELL, and ask them all the questions that you have, Then go buy a CONSUMER REPORTS guide and see what they say.
Then YOU will have to decide what is the best type of desktop to buy, based on the results of your research. ANY QUESTIONS?

relies upon on how a lot money you favor to spend. Dells are cost-efficient and best of all they artwork! in case you go with something with a great volume of computing skill, get an Alienware or a Voodoo computing gadget. those can value upwards of $3000 besides the undeniable fact that. so a options as device specs you want a minimum of a 2.5Gigahertz processor, 2Gigs of RAM, CD/DVD twin-layer RWchronic and about 80 Gigs of hardchronic area. also you go with an ATI pictures card. make confident your new computing gadget is Vista nicely suited. Microsoft is going to emphasise us to bypass that way with the help of this summer time.
