Will there ever be a time when people get together and just say "STOP"! stop the fighting, stop the hatred, stop the killing. Will we ever make time to make peace with each other. they make time to plan wars, time to plan killing why not make time to plan peace? Religions are but different roads converging upon the
same point. What does it matter that we take different routes so
long as we reach the same point?

The Bible says there will come a day when there will be peace. "The Lion wil sleep with the Lamb". This will be after Christ returns. There also is mentioned in the Bible a 1000 year period of peace, then depending on the interpretation there will be one final battle. At any rate there will be peace someday. If any man creates peace. Beware, that is a false peace, and soon after terrible things will follow. This could happen in our lifetime, and many of the predictions in the Bible seem to be about to happen or have happened in the Middle East. What is happening with Isreal, it's reformation was predicted in the Bible.
I'm not a Bible expert, but some of the interesting parts of the Bible that talk about the "End Times" are The Book of Daniel (8-10), Revelation (try chapters after 12). The prophecies are cryptic for a reason, they don't interfere with how things will happen. But for now I think these wars are going to escalate, as more countries obtain weapons of mass destruction. It's really difficult to control all those hate filled brainwashed people all over the world.

no never, i'm sorry it's hard but true. same as we'll never have world peace, harsh yet true the best you can do is help those in need. religions do have the same ground but i honestly don't think any of them are correct, for example think of the game telephone.. and now think of alot of people playing and how much the answer has changed by the time it has come back to you, we hear what we want to hear

only if the people rise to elect a very different type of government in every country. this is wishful thinking.
if you want change, become a politician and change the world the best you can.

i hate to say it but of all the major conflicts in the world the muslims are involved in most of them if you dont beleive in their ways ,or religion you are the enemy , they want world dominance ,and they have wanted it for thousands of years .world peace,will never happen
