The United Nations said Israeli and Lebanese leaders had agreed to a ceasefire to take effect at 0500 GMT on Monday. This UN resolution will be another in a list of many that Israel will most likely not comply with. Because of their relationship with the US, they are able to "get away" with simply overlooking UN resolutions. Here are some of the many examples:
Palestinian Refugees have the right to return to their homes in Israel.
General Assembly Resolution 194, Dec. 11, 1948
"Resolves that the refugees wishing to return to their homes and live at peace with their neighbors should be permitted to do so at the earliest practicable date, and that compensation should be paid for the property of those choosing not to return and for loss of or damage to property which, under principles of international law or in equity, should be made good by the Governments or authorities responsible."
Israel's occupation of Palestine is Illegal.
Security Council Resolution 242, Nov. 22, 1967
Calls for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from territories occupied in the war that year and "the acknowledgment of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of every state in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force."
Israel's settlements in Palestine are Illegal.
Security Council Resolution 446, March 22, 1979
"Determines that the policy and practices of Israel in establishing settlements in the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied since 1967 have no legal validity and constitute a serious obstruction to achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East."
Palestinian have the right to Self-Determination.
General Assembly Resolution 3236, November 22, 1974
Affirms "the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people in Palestine...to self-determination without external interference" and "to national independence and sovereignty."
Reaffirmation of a Palestinian State
Security Council Resolution 1397, March 12, 2002
Affirms "a vision of a region where two states, Israel and Palestine, live side by side within secure and recognized borders."
So, is it possibly that Israel may ignore this one also? Who knows, this time the world is watching. One possible outcome is that Israel may come up with "necessary cause" to continue their barbaric attack on the Lebanese people. We can only wait and watch.
Enough people have died for Israel's greed for land aquisition. This is not a new ordeal, but one that has been ongoing since 1948.

I assume by the use of the word Zionist in your question that you already hold an anti Israeli position. Now that being said what could I say to change your opinion? Not much I assume . So lets go over the facts of the situation.
1. Hezbolah fired missiles(supplied by Iran) into Israel first. close to 1000 missiles before Israel did something about it. How many times will you allow someone to destroy your proerty before you do something about it?
2. Iranian troops have been killed in this conflict as well but that is not widespread in the press. What are the Iranians doing there?
3. There are still 5000 missiles in Lebanon that Hezbolah still has.
So now the 64 thousand dollar question is this: Why can "freedom fighters" attack and kill neutral targets and get away with it but when your women and kids get killed it is an outrage?

The cease fire doesn't take effect until MONDAY also Hezbollah has fired 75 rockets today also. Why do the Terrorists keep attacking after the cease fire was announced? The answer is the same of course the cease fire was announced to start on MONDAY. You are just trying to stir things up. The Nation of Isreal is not attacking they are targeting rocket positions that have FIRED on them TODAY.

And what on the project of the quantity of rockets and artillery that Israel has fired shrink back at Gaza once you think approximately that that date and at Lebanon and distinctive places? 2 wrongs do now no longer make an astounding, so why is Israel exempt from bombing others, yet distinctive international places are no longer allowed to touch Israel without huge hoohaa? Sorry, i do now no longer see any large distinction, killing is inaccurate on the two section and if persons desire to call me anti Semitic then do it, least i understand that i'm now no longer into killing innocents international!

Zionism as a movement died out about a hundred years ago.
And the cease-fire in Lebanon goes into effect in about 20 hours.

a cease fire is a mutual agreement between two warring parties. it is not properly a demend from third parties. both must voluntarily cease to make it work.
if firing gets results then ceasing will not occur

Olmert is loosing his popularity.. How to demonstrate that he is the patriot No 1 ? Only support from Israeli people may protect him from Hague Court, which may ask something for committed war crimes. He does not risk much, I would say. And military circles may use him as a scapegoat for their own plays during this "transition".

Listen you Muslim lover! Israel is the tiger in your forest! Your people stabbed and prodded in to Israel land. Then when They stab like a shark in to your land, the land you intelligently took from Lebanon. Then you cry! Cry on you Infidel! GOD is on someones side, and it isn't yours!
