I just replaced the Compressor and the Dryer and Orifice tube. in my 77 Chevy Blazer. I put 2 oz PAG oil in the belly of the Compressor and the next third in the condenser and the last third in the dryer. I added an oil charge = 8.5 oz in to it and 3 cans of R-134a. It have 252 Hi side, 25 Low Side and 65 degrees in the evap. Outside where I was working , it was 98 . What Gives?

It blew 40 degree air after 3 min of operation before the compressor blew in it,
I did not find particles in the orifice tube - did not flush the condenser. I was wondering if I over oiled it?
Should I purge out a pound it put a pound of pure R-134A back in it or should I purge the whole thing and reload it?
I do think I over oiled it – 8.5 of PAG in the Compressor and in the Dryer and the output line. Also a can of oil and sealer in the system at the initial reload

That was an r12 system,so im assuming that it has been converted to r134.If the pressures are right I would check to see if the ventand temperature control doors are closing right. If the temp door stays open to the heater core it may be mixing with the cold air from the ac.

Are you sure you havent put in too much oil, seems like 10.5+ oz of oil is quite a bit?

could the radiator thing in the front be full of leaves or check to see if the fins are bent over stoping the air from cooling it
