the engine is going into a jeep wrangler and i want something that is going to sound tough and deep

I have super 40's on my 454 chevelle and I love them, a very agressive sound, of course the more cu. in. the better the sound.

I've got 40's on my Ford truck, but they aren't nearly as loud with the converters still on there. I drove it around with no exhaust past the cat and it was no louder, it just has a better sound now.

If leaving the motor stock, I would use the 40's.

i say put the 40 series on . i have the same on my malibu. sounds good.if you work that engine it will sound better.
