He deserves an eight. The minority government is holding him back and making him appear weak. He deserves credit for sticking to his beliefs and not being a "please everyone, please no one" liberal. The conservative party under "Steve" takes direct action and aren't fence sitters like the Liberals. The fact that Steve has upset so many Canadians( sorry, "new" Canadians) is good news, he has priorities and principles and won't bend over backwards for a bunch of terrorist lovers living in Quebec and Ontario. If the Conservatives lose the next election, the western provinces should take a real hard look at where Canada (Ontario/ Quebec) is going and make an effort to wrestle more provincial autonomy from the feds to protect the west from liberal foreign, security, immigration, crime, social policies that are destroying our country.

Most Americans don't know anything about Stephen Harper. If he's Canadian...that's all we need to know. We like him.

I would rate him just 2 coz I don't appreciate his idea of running the Canada and he hasn't made any effective changes in the Govt. as promised by him. He is a great talker but less in action. He's not gonna win next election for sure.

I'm a Liberal. He sticks to his guns and people respect that. I think he'll win a majority unless the grits can stop reacting and forge a better vision for the country.
