In my early 30s.....wondering if you might have some wisdom to shed about life.

Take GOOD care of yourself. That means stay away from hard drugs, don't do stupid jackass stunts, think before you talk and act.

Always consider the consequences of what you do before you do things. A criminal record is impossible to erase, a tattoo is very painful to erase, an addiction is very painful to overcome.

Respect yourself and respect others.

It has been forecasted that in less than 20 years, the life expectancy will increase by more than 12 months per year; which means -- if it turns out to be true -- that those that are less than 60 right now may never die. It would be a crying shame if someone died before as a consequence of not carefully measuring the long term consequences of their actions.

Remember: life is not a video game. There is no "reset" button, no cheat code, and you only have one life.

This might sound like something you'd expect, but believe me when I tell you life will just continue to get better for you from 30's on. You get your priorities straight, you figure out who you are (and are pretty comfortable with it), and things in general are just better. I wouldn't have believed it in my 30's either. All my boomer friends feel the same. So, kick back and enjoy the ride : )

The things I have learned in life......You can never show enough love to those you love.The more love for your family and others you experience in life,the better the quality of life is.....Never let others take your dreams for life and living from you. Holding onto them keeps you young and gives you something to look forward to.Don't be afraid to share what your dreams are with others,for they may be able to show you the way to fulfill them....When possible,share what you have with those less fortunate than you.This can be time and talents as well as money....Take time in quiet moments to enjoy the beauty that can be found around you.A flower only blooms once....Say the words,I love you as much as possible.They are the only words that others never get enough of....Spend as much time as possible with your children.They are only small for a short time.They grow up way too fast....Give one hundred percent of yourself when at work.Take time to praise others around you for a job well done.Always answer honestly and others will respect you.....My hope is that you already do all of the above. God bless you.

Well, the guy who said "He Who Dies With The Most Toys Wins" died and his toys are still here, so I guess he lost.

I think most people over fifty wish they had spent more time with family (Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Wife, Son, Daughter) and less time working.

~~~Work hard,,,save $$$$,,,this day and age, good paying jobs with benifets are so hard to come by,,,,If you have a good job with health insurance,,,keep it! and if available get your 401K,,some companies match what you put in your 401K.
~~~Laugh alot! truly,,,dont sweat the small stuff,,,appreciat your spouse,,,,and show that appreciation,,,,Have alot of laughter in your home,,,
~~~Love and accept your children for who they are,,,never make them feel belittled,,always tell them your proud of them,,,yes they will make mistakes,,,didnt we all?? Life is so short,,,so hard,,,,
~~~Laughter and love in your home is the key,,,its not about who has the nicest car,,,the bigger house,,,the fancy pool,,,Its not about keeping up with the "Jone's" anymore,,,its about bering content in who we are and family,,,and community,,,,,

Do it while you can, Whatever that may be.
You don't want to ever look back and say I wish I had done that back then.
