my question exactly!

The point is, I think the new manager may live to regret his decision. He made the decision on the basis that he does not like David Beckham, which was wrong,it should have been made as to whether he would still be of benefit to the England team. He has saved Englands bacon on many occasions.

Isn't he just famous for marrying skelator..er I mean Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham?
Well, I think the only good thing about him is that he is only good at those penalty kick things, which he's very reliable for. I heard this during the world cup coverage on ESPN by the commentators. He's just an okay player...

He's a ok player but never a great one! He's not the kind of player who can shoulder the team by himself.

Nevertheless, he's a very lucky footballer. Carried by the like of Cantona and Roy Keane, he can optimize his only advantage, crossing and kicking a freekick or two while not even needed to run the flank.

He could be a useful player in a good team but he's simply not the kind of great player making a so-so team a good one!

David Beckham is the best english player I have seen so far, but he killed it when he dropped his captaincy. That is why the new English manager dropped him, what is the point of having him.

What's the point of dropping him? How many advertising contracts will he lose as a result? One major point of David Beckham was that he encouraged men to be proud of their feminine side, and despite everything always appeared quite shy. I never believed he was Mr. Faithful though, but it's none of my business.

He's a great player. There's no question he can cross the ball and control the wings but he's not in his prime anymore. He lacked of confidence and ability in this last WC and that's the reason he dropped his capitancy. They're just making room for players like Lennon who runs like a gazzelle.

i agree...his peak season was left at the past...but he still have the natural ability for playing football, anyway...he's more famous by his personal-glamour life rather than his career (i mean i know he's great player coz i like football...but for them who's not...they just know Beckham as a beautiful face in football...)
