Sometimes were on the same wavelength and other times were far from it. Sometimes I dont think he is spontaneous enough. Today when we got to the beach(we were just going for a walk), I said lets go swimming, he didnt want to because it wasnt planned out. Our biggest fight is, where do we go eat? Were definitely not on the same page there. Also, he thinks he looks stupid dancing and he doesnt, so we dont do that often. So what can I do? Breaking up isnt an option so dont say that.

try to get him past the thought that now that he has a girlfriend, he shouldn't have to worry how other people look at him. as long as you and him are having the time of your lives. make sure u tell him that u don't care how he looks when he's having fun. just remind him that you will love him anyways. start off doing something small like jumping in a spacewalk (do things that little kids like to do)
u must tell him along the way that your real glad that he's having fun. make sure u keep him occupied. then you can eat things like pizza(for starters) then share a late night snack of a banana split at your local creamery

Accept him for who he is. If not too spontaneous, you be the spontaneous one, sometimes you may need to throw out there, today if we go to the beach, I have a surprise. Dance with someone else, you should not stop doing something you like, just because he doesn't like it! Eat at all your favorite resturants! Bon Apetite!

Sorry, but theres nothing you can do. You have to learn to live with it. My husband is the same way. His idea of a great day spent together is him on the computer playing Dark Ages of Camelot while I sit on the bed watching him. Yeeeeah. I tried to get him to have a "date night" where every other week, one of us would pick a place to go and what to do with no complaining about it. Hmm... didn't work. We went on about 2 dates.... then that idea fell apart. The only thing I can say, is learn to live with the boring guy.

Try harder to find out what it is he really likes or loves.. try to do things he enjoys. Ask him if he would do some things with you just to be with you if you did the same for him. The both of you do not have to like the same things to enjoy being with each other.. Sometimes just being there whether you like it or not is enough to tolerste what you hate about it.

Its hard thing to just change someones personality like that. But the easiest way to do it, is to show him that being spontaneous is wicked fun. Doing random things just because they are random is what makes my life awesome. One night doing something random like go for a run at 12 AM. i have done it before and you like to be fit and enjoy running then thats a good one. Just be creative think of something he would enjoy then just go do it as soon as your with him. RANDOM is the KEY!!!

Tell him you don't want to break up but "open the relationship" up because you need more spontaneous fun before you get too old to really enjoy life. You want to meet people who like having FUN.

Turn on music and dance at home. Instead of "lets go swimming" just start running into the waves and see if he follows. Cook for him or let him cook for you.

Sounds like he's a party pooper and should really get out and do more things with you often to keep the realtionship spiced up a little.

some people(and im guilty of this) wont come out of their shell until someone brings them out of it
i have done so many things i would never have dreamed of doing with a friend of mine, she really opened up for me and in turn i felt much more comfortable and opened up to her
even if its just talking about something you haven't before, it will be worth it

well if your fighting about things than just taking things as they are and having fun then you guys definitly arent right for eachother...sorry but i dont think its going to work if your not having fun with him
or just find different things to do i guess
