You aren't overweight. I'm twelve so I would Know. I weigh 105 pounds. But you are tall. I am only 5 feet tall. This is wierd, but running up and down stairs burns more calories than running or Jogging. Feel comfortable in your skin, as that other person said.

No. My daughter is the same weight but a little shorter. If you want more muscle talk to your mom about a fitness class, dance class or your PE teacher.
Start running, walking, dancing, swimming (forget what others think - you probably look cute) and try some strength training.
Please stop weighing yourself and make good food choices.
Eat breakfast, take vitamins and don't beat yourself up about your body. Different swimsuits work for different body types. Stop looking at the size zero girls in the public eye, They are smoking, drinking not sleeping and starving themselves. It is neither okay nor attractive.
When I was a teen I was super skinny but still had a belly. When I look at photos I looked like a giant head on a stick.
Ab exercises will definitely help. Talk to your parents or a trusted adult.

There are a lot of 12 year olds that are overweight! If you believe you are, talk to your parents. Why don't you start eating better, and excercising at least 30 minutes every day? Once, you see a change in your feelings about you, continue it and maybe, lift some weights or do crunches. Hope this helps you! I was chubby when i was your age! Just dont lose confidence!

i'm 5'4" an weigh 129 too.....but i'm 17!!! You're tall for you're age so that also comes into play with weight. I used to be 10 pounds heavier, but i lost the weight. I'd think at 12 you weigh more than average, but you're also taller than average. Your doctor would tell you if you have a weight problem. Be comfortable in your own skin

i weigh 128 and am 5' 4" but im 13. you are so not over weight (my doctor said so)but if you feel selfconscious in a bathing suit u should jog for 30 min every day and do A LOT of sit ups. i know, i hate excersizing to and i hated doing it when i was overweight a last year but it totally helps. also black suits make ur body look less bulky and verticle stripes makes ur body look longer than wide.

i no what its like when people your age weigh much less so dont go by age go by your health ...a healthy weight for 5 4" is between 114-127 its fine upto about 10 st but thats fat a skinny 5 4" is usually 114-127
im 5 4" and 124lbs im perfect but i want to loooos all the weight from around my belly beacuse thats wer it is but its not as noticable as you think so take your time and do it rite..get into a routine of doing 100-300 crunches and 100 squats and 100 twists aday --& thats your belly your bunm and your waist sorted

It doesn't sound like you're over weight. Maybe a little tall but that's ok.
Do some situps or crunches to muscle up your stomach. Walk, bike or do some sports to help with overall fitness.
You'll do fine.'

I did some research and found a growth chart and you are right on point. If you want to build some muscle, do some cardio. You can take up tennis, swimming, gymnastics, dance... anything that involves alot of moving but don't over do it.

Hey don't worry about it. everyone takes different amounts of time to mature. ur fine and too young to diet hard, u should jog, dance or play volleyball with ur friends or something fun and excersize. I was way bigger then u at that age and now i'm thin for my age. as u grow u'll stretch out.

wait until you hit a growth spurt, then you will appear slimmer.
don't starve yourself. please.
try running to tone your stomach, trust me, it doesn't work your legs only.
plus, you're 12, you shouldn't be worried about this stuff. you body is changing a lot and will be for the next several years.
