I recently went to try out for the American Idol auditions. I stood in long *** lines just to get my shot. When I finally got my chance, I sang with soul and all of heart. I gave it my best only to for the judges to tell me and the three girls that were in my group that, "Unfortunately the bar was raised pretty high from last season and thank you but you didn't make it." I know I can compete with the best of the best. Everybody who knows me, knows that I can compete with the best of the best and that is no joke. I really do think that going to American Idol to try out is full of ****, first of all they have judges there, not Randy, Simon, or Paula, but just any old kind of judges there that claim to have "produced something". I can look at them and tell that they don't know anything about music. Anyway, American Idol I believe is rigged, it's pre-planned, and they have prejudices. It's not a real show so don't waste your time with it.

I know everyone has their own opinions about the show and I'm open to all answers, but if you're going to post somthing on here about it being your favorite show I really don't care if it's your favorite show. My question was do you think it's rigged or not. If your answer is yes or no please give an explanation why.

um yeah of course its rigged...they're only looking for people who fit the "mold" of a TV reality show star...someone who will make the people watch. your voice has little to do with it. i say that if you keep trying hard you'll make it.

The voting is rigged. People should have figured out by now that it's all about the phone calls. Do you know how much money they're raking in every week?

You sound like all the other crap singers on the show that complain cause they weren't picked. Doesn't matter anyway now cause only seasons 1 and 2 had any good singers.

yes i do think the show is rigged there is too much money at risk put up by the sponsors i believe it is the sponsor who will determine the winner

Regardless, it's one of my favorite shows. I don't care if it's rigged or not, I think it's good entertainment.
