1760 goes into 7920 four times.
(1760)(4) = 7040
7920 - 7040 = 880
880/1760 = 1/2
Answer: 4 1/2 = 4.5

First, simplify. 7+9+2 = 18, and 1+7+6 = 14. 3 doesn't go into 14, so 3 doesn't go into 1760. Therefore, divide 20 out of top and bottom to get 396 / 88. Now divide out a 4 to get 99/22. Now divide out 11 to get 9/2. The answer is 4.5.

7920/10=792/2=396/2=198/2=99
1760/10=176/2=88/2=44/2=22
99/22=4 1/2

7920 / 1760
792 / 176
792 - 176 X 4
792 - 704
88
4 + 88/176
4 + 0.5
4.5

Or

7920 / 1760
792 / 176
792 - 176 X 4
792 - 704
88
so your answer will be
4 remainder 88
