Yes you have to pay it. Some states even recognise other states tickets and you could wind up with a warrent for your arrest in your state for the ticket in Nevada. You would be arrested and have to answer for the charges in Nevada. Just pay it, less hassle.

Yes, you have to pay it. If you don't pay your ticket, you will be found guilty by default and fined.

If you don't pay your fine, your license will be suspended and additional fees imposed.

The DMV will put the conviction on your driving record in your home state, and collection agencies will hound you for payment of the fine and additional fees.

You won't be able to drive again legally until your account is paid in full, so, heck, it is cheaper and you will have a lot less hassles, if you just go ahead and either pay your ticket, or take defensive driving class--which by the way, can be done over the Internet now :)

Good luck to you.

I take it that you like to gamble. What are the odds that on your next trip to Las Vegas you may get stopped again? Your vacation could be ruined and instead of hitting a big jack pot you will be sitting in a jail cell in the Clark County lockup. You just have to figure if the odds are in your favor and if the payoff is worth the risk.

Yeah. That happened to my father-in-law coming back from Las Vegas. He had to pay it and he actually lost his license because that was his 3rd ticket in a short time.. So yeah it still counts. Sorry.

So many people speed on that highway!

Yes, it doesn't matter where you live, you still have to pay it. Police seem to target out-of-state travelers, probably for the very purpose of giving them a ticket. And if you want to contest it in court, you have to go back to the same county you got the ticket in. Sorry!

You can ignore it if you never plan on going to Nevada again. Because there will be a warrant for your arrest, you might not want to take the chance.

They won't come looking for you though, not for a simple speeding ticket.

Yes - unless you never want to set foot in Nevada again.

They didn't used to cross the state lines so you didn't have to pay them if you never went back to that state.

Now, they do. You need to pay or they will keep you from getting new registration / license / etc....
