My husband and I may go again this year. I believe the answer is no, but it has evolved over the last 9 years or so. Last year the festival had 32,000 attendees. Is it quite different from when it first started, absolutely. Will you have fun if you go, if you are open to new experiences, absolutely. Just be very prepared. Take Lots of water, food and protection from the elements, ear plugs and if you can a motor home, if not a porta potty. Hope this helps.

I liked the original story, and I liked the original movie, although they were not exactly the same. I'm assuming that they will only change the story again. It's a good story, but only a fair movie. No real action until the end.

$300 to be a hippie sounds pretty contradictory to me. I wonder if the area where it's held is trashed when they are done? I'll bet the desert thinks it's played out. I just don't have much desire to run around naked, dehydrated, sunburnt, and broke. My VW van doesn't need the punishment, neither does my wallet.
My westy's karma is ok without it.
