How is highschool???

Question

i start highschool on Monday and i'm just wondering if ur 9th grade year is good or bad???

all my friends r in another school, so i might be alone, which sux alot.

Hi Shorty. 9th grade being good or bad depends mostly on you. Having no friends and being alone can be depressing but introduce yourself and make new friends. There are other freshmen who are as apprehensive of the 9th grade as you are. Get involved in activities that excites you and associate with people who encourages you, not mock or depress you. It's not the school or your friends task to entertain or make you happy. But you can use them as you make yourself happy. Stay focused, stay positive and stay in touch with your parents and family for support.

I think it depends on what you are doing if your freshman year goes good or bad. You have to make new friends. One good way to do that is to be a part of school activities. When you are a part of something you like, the people who are in that activity with you share a common interest with you.
Another way is to talk to the people in your classes. Make conversation.
That's how I did in my 9th grade year. I talked to people and introduced myself to new people. My 9th grade year was fun because I got involved. I made friends with people in gym class too. I was a part of a Christian club and ROTC. That's how I made friends.

9th grade suxs. Every other grade looks down on you. The other grades also make fun of you for being in 9th grade.

Kids are generally always mean to the newbies going into high school cuz that's how kids are in any school. You'll have to adjust. Once you find where you fit in you'll hopefully be more comfortable.

Kids always have their own groups they hang around with...jocks, preps, cheerleaders, etc, dweebs etc....I fit into the nonconformist group....the odd and end group that didn't fit in anywhere else....

Everyone will give you a different opinion on high school. If I could go back I would have partied it up more definitely....cuz I hated that place LOL....I could have really had some fun!!!!! Anyway good luck!

high schoool is fun I mean i just started 9th grade too and even though I don't have any friends in two of my four classes it's still pretty cool. I mean i have lunch with my best friend too so it's not that bad but next semester i won't have lunch with her which realy sucks but i guess i'll just go to the library during my lunch.

High school is so much fun. Freshmen aren't thrown in garbage cans of pushed into lockers or anything. True, some seniors are a bit mean to them, but there's nothing to worry about.

What's best is meeting new friends.

im still on summer vacay, but you'll be alright. it'll be tough at first, but just be nice, smile and you'll make tons of new friends especially if you join a sport or club or something. don't agonize over it, cz everyone's starting out as a freshy like you.

dats wassup you starting highskool...but everyone's experience of highskool is different...mines?? was ok...you jus have to be yourself...the first day of skool...dont be a loner...walk around and introduce yourself to people...try not to be shy..so what if ur friends not there....make new ones...dey might even be better than the ones you have now...=] ...just be yourself !!!!!
