Ok, check your gas, check your battery, check your oil, and if it still wont start, you may have to call a mechanic.

If it is actually the starter you will have to have it checked and replaced if necessary.

Depends. By "won't start," do you mean it makes a sound when you turn the key or not? If so, what kind of sound? Does it click, drag...? For each of these conditions, there is a set of things to check. If it's cranking normally but won't turn over, two things can cause this: no spark and no fuel. If it's making unusual sounds, probably is the starting or charging system. If nothing at all is happening, maybe it's in the ignition system. Really, you'll have to be more specific.

fastest and easiest is to squirt (very little) starting fluid into your carb or air intake. If it fires you have a fuel delivery problem. If not pull a plug wire off and sick a screwdriver into the wire end and lay along the engine or where it can get a ground.Turn the vehicle over .If you see an ark off the end of it you have spark to your plugs.Fuel,Fire,combustion.This will point you in the right way..

The first thing I would do is try the headlights, if they are bright, your battery is probably good, If you don't hear any clicking and the headlights are bright, you need to troubleshoot the start circuit. You didn't state whether your engine actually turned over, I am assuming it didn't, Good luck!

Lift the hood, look in there and touch a few things. Then, close the hood and call a mechanic.
