True. I need to agree with you on that. 98% of the music "getting played out" on the radio will be considered crap in 3 to 4 years God knows if less. It's OK to disagree on music taste, eventually people grow out of it. I'm 32 and grew up in the 80's then I discovered 70's Classic Rock and created a leverage towards what I think good music is, 80's music being the fulcrum. I find it hilarious when people call this new crap music. All the bands are young guys whose voices are barely mature & all they singing sounds like wining. And the three Rap artists I like I don't hear on the radio anymore. Keep listening to good music. Oh! And all these people that rebel in their type of music don't pay attention. Art is in the eye of the beholder. If they like it, it's their problem. The fun part is not telling them. Anyway to answer your question, yes. A lot of today's music IS crap.

I agree with you about music of today. I'm actually 20 years old and like to listen music that amazingly great ( except for urban rap and hiphop) since I was young.
Question: What happen to good music???
There were great music back in 60's just to 80's. 90's were good too. Now, I'm not too sure!
Who remember the worst band from 90's: Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys or others teen pop.
Now 2000's: Black Eyes Peas, Gwen Stefani, Enimem, Shakira,Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Outkast, Nelly, Beyoncé, well many hiphop, rap, rock that sound pop from artist today are awful.
What happen to good music of TODAY? I prefer to stick in 70's to 90's rock.
Still, in 2000's there are some great music especially rock and adult contemporary. But it is hard to find, since many bands and artists are more focused on marketing (money) or from the female artist ( their sexy look) than their emotion and personnal life based on their music. Example: Nickelback, Mariah Carey.

you are right, however music has always been made to appeal to the masses... the thing is that now the masses like to listen to the what is on the radio now...... jimi janis and jim did the same thing....even if it was more heartfelt before. You are deffinately entitled to your musical opinion, but I admit I love to get out and shake my A S S to a little Three6Mafia or Snoop....

Some of the new stuff sucks, but I am old school. I like Hendrix, Morrison, Donovan, Lightfoot, The Beatles, KISS, music like that. Anything from the 1960's to the 1990's mostly.
