Why is it OK to kill civillians because you disagree with what their Government has done?

30% of British Muslims say that the civillians who died on 7/7 in London deserved to die because of what Tony Blair is doing. How are these people responsible for Blair's actions? Many of them didn't even VOTE for him!!!

Are these Muslims not aware that many many British people oppose the war - you must have seen all the "Stop the War" demonstrations in the UK. Blair just ignored them. So how can these Muslims say those innocent civllians had to die because of the actions of their government, when most of them disagree with what their government is doing

Do all American deserve to die because of what Bush has done? How are they directly reponsible for Bush's actions?

This just seems to be more Islamic hatred and justification for their acts. I saw some Muslim protesters in London on TV a few months ago ranting that "Islam is going to take over the UK - and there's nothing you can do about it". Is this not their real agenda? To make us all "Dhimmis"??

Well I know that you know it is not ok to kill civillians because you disagree with what their Government has done but sadly we could repeat it from morn 'til night and there are people who would beg to differ.

I just find it hard to understand the way some people think. When you see all the killing and maiming that is caused to innocent civillians who are just in the wrong place at the wrong time it is heartbreaking.

I was amazed to hear that 30% of British Muslims say that civillians who died on 7/7 in London deserved to die. How on earth can they say that. They are talking about their fellow countrymen, people who have welcomed them into their lives and been friends to their fellow Muslims.

I think the people who were ranting about Islam going to take over the UK should have been arrested and put in prison for their trouble. No point in being polite about it and waiting for another terrible morning like 7/7.They were letting their fellow Muslims down. I see Muslims on TV every other day saying they are in no way in favour of the violence. They should do what they can to stamp it out before it gets out of hand. Freedom of speach is a very precious thing and should never be abused. That ranting was a threat and I am amazed they were allowed to do so.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if whenever a disagreement occured between two countries that the leaders of both of the countrie's Governments were put in a field together to solve it and not allowed out 'til they did. They would, I'll bet, talk to resolve it rather than beat the living daylights out of each other.

Wish I could rule the world for a day and have a giant spacecraft ready to fill with all the troublemakers who want to distroy life for the rest of us. I would fill it up and send it off into outer space and retire and live happily ever after.

Interesting question. Do civilians deserve to die , definitely not. Unfortunately this is life, this is the society we have created. Until people (us) can appreciate that no innocent life is expendable simply to reinforce our views nothing will change. If they are really convinced they have an argument let them enter the debate. What they have to remember is that the innocents come from both sides. To go on to your second point Muslims in this country do not want the UK to be an Islamic state. They are not missionaries they are here because they are living a better life here for themselves and their children. Whilst they may be angry and frustrated by the current situation they are not returning to what they profess to be the ideal society.

You need to ask yourself this question: What are civilians?
We no longer live in a world where soldiers are dressed in uniforms and fight in battlefields. Nowadays, terror reigns. Terrorists have no uniforms, and they hide among the general population.
Many people who aid the terrorists are so calles civilians. For example, many in Lebanon aid the Hezbollah by stockpiling weapons in their living rooms, despite the presence of children in the homes.
Additionally, if you are protesting aggression against Muslims, keep in mind the fact that no Christians, Buddhists, Jews, or Roman Catholics have been accused of murdering innocents just because they do not share the same beliefs!

Here's a plain simple truth.

Despite what muslims tell you their religion is not one of tolerance or co-existance.

Go do a bit of reading. The words are there for all to see it. They know it and so do we.

Allah said he would not suffer the infidel to live.
Basically you're either Muslim or Infidel.
If you're Infidel you should be put to death.

How plain do you want it ? Ask them ! Islam wants the entire world to have the Islamic faith. Part of any clerics teaching is to spread Islam. They have Islamic states and they want all countries to embrace Islam.

It's only a matter of time before you either give them what they want or make a stand. The question is.......... 'What will it take before the West recognises there is no living with these people and makes a stand ?'
Then you have to ask yourselves ... 'Are you willing to do what it takes ? They're willing to kill and die for their faith regardless of whether it's women or children.... what and who are you willing to die and kill for ?'

It is morally wrong.

It is however often a very successful way of affecting political change (recently in Spain for example).

Consider that our own (GB & US) forces have slaughtered tens of thousands of civilians in Afganistan and Iraq and on occasions using chemical weapons (phosphorous) to maim, terrorize and kill families.

In 1940's, Jewish terrorists commited atrocities against the British administrators (and indiginous population) in Palestine and affected the will of the Britain to govern under the UN mandate.

In WW 2 both Britain and Germany carpet bombed civilians in a campaign of terror on a vast scale.

The United States has both promoted and faught against terrorist campaigns throughout S. America.

In Lebanon today , Israel and Hesbollah continue to slaughter civilians.

In almost every conflict, terror has been used as a weapon of war, and often to avenge perceptions of injustice.

If the Nazis had been successful in invading Britain in WW 2 we too would have conducted a terror campaign against the victors with the hope of winning freedom.

One thing is for sure, war against terrorist organisations has never been won,
negotiation has been the only answer (i.e. N.Ireland).

Islamic killers like the ones in Hezbolah routinely hide behind civilians while they're launching attacks. They know that these civilians will be killed during any counterattacks and that they can then blame the other side for the killings. It's pretty simple.

You win wars by killing civilians. Enough people die, public sentiment changes, the attacked party's ability to resist ends, and the aggressor achieves their intended goals.

Otherwise, civilians are abundant, and injuring some is a simple fact of wars - the concept of everyone going out to a large field and shooting each other down is no longer one any serious military will accept.

Why are there human beings residing contained in the streets once you've extra room at your position of abode? do not tell me that you do not have a settee or a minimum of somewhat of floor the position they could sleep.
