i think the best state is one that U think is the best too live in . and have fun. and that meets your standards. people cant tell u which state is good and is bad

I assume you mean US states. Depends on your criteria, but California is a good choice b/c of the weather. CNN Money claims Texas to be #1, with California as #2 and New York as #3.
The worst? Arkansas or West Virginia are good picks...

Worst State: Texas (currently in Houston. I miss my home)

From what I think the best state is NY. I live in CT though, and it's not so bad a state!
The worst state is probably Missippi or Alabama.

My opinion of best state to live in in America would be New york & Florida and worst .....Maybe Texas or Cali.

1. It's all relative to what you like.
2. The previous answer of Nevada, would not suit me because of the smoke polution & heat.
3. I like Los Angeles, California, because it always has something going on for every walk of life. If you get bored in LA, it's your own fault.
4. There are cities (big & small), dessert, mountains, farmland, redwoods, beaches in various part of California. All kinds of weather. It's beautiful. I love looking at the palm trees each morning. Our palms have parrots.

Virginia my dearest person, Virginia....I am a native born Virginian and I love her lakes, her mountains and seasides, the people are the greatest and they have the greatest sense of history..if we know where we came from, we know where to go..the beautiful hills of Patrick County are still unspoiled and Rockcastle Creek is as clean as any water in the world, come to Virginia and walk on soil that holds the bones of Patriots and remember the 53rd Virginia actually took the stone wall at Gettysburg....
