Not exactly. When I take abath, or go swimming the flow will slow down, but resumes shortly after I get out. So I sometimes will have spots on the towel. I don't usually wear tampons, but keep some of the juniors on hand just for swimming.

Only if your flow is light. That is because the pressure out side of the body is greater than inside. Still use a tampon. If you cough or sneeze you will leak. Plus it isn't healthy to swim in a pool without a tampon in.

well, its somewhat true, it doesn't completelty stop, i know from experience, you still let out blood, but its so little bit that you don't even notice it, in fact, the bad thing is that when you get out the water everything you didn't fully let out in water oozes out really fast, i mean if you like run to the bathroom, your good, but it takes like 2 minutes and you start gushing, just wear a tampon in the water, that way you don't have to worry about anything, just if your swimming don't kick so hard, because the tampon might start ploppin out

Your period is still there, but water will halt the flow for a little while, just like when you take a bath while having your period.

No, a swim in the pool will not stop your period. Sorry!

no you can still bleed when in water, it may slow it and if your flow is light stop it for a bit but as soon as you get out it will make up for lost time with a watery mess.....think about when you take a bath, water gets up there and comes out when you stand.

you won't have what? your period again? of course not! if you are worried about the chlorine, don't. if you swallow pool water, you don't die, and it isn't going to stop your period. only pregnancy, low body fat, and age can do that. sry.

It depends on the kind of pool, and the period when you are having your period, and how much you are willing to sacrifice for the truth.

No this is not true.It does slow down but once you get out of the water. It is quite the mess.So unless you use tampons,i wouldn't go swimming at that time of the month.
