I have spent some time studying it and know a lil about it but not as much as I would like. But I'm am interested in knowing what the general population might know about it. Bclint and Gbush both raised national funding for it so we might be close to getting it or maybe not who knows cause im sure its one of the biggest secrets the gov has lol.

There are a lot of problems making nanotech real, not the least of which is turning the critters off when they are no longer needed, especially in military uses. There is a great story in the current issue of Analog's exploring the aggressive use of nanotech to control human behavior. A landlord has you ingest a nano entity and if you don't pay the rent, it makes you ill.

Just a great, original take on a practical use of the technology.

Do you even know what nanotech is? I know all about it. Nano means -1,000,000 in the metric system and nanotech is just small technology, like small computer chips or experiments with atoms or mini machines and other small things. If you are curious about it, read popular science or watch the discovery channel.
And it IS changing the world in small ways and we definitely have it.

Actually it appears that they have made quite a bit of progress. They have just had their 9th annual trade show. Pretty interesting information on the link. There is another show coming up in Taiwan in September. Happy reading.
