One of my friends has been dating a girl for a few months now. It's the worst relationship story: They met on MySpace, and she decided she was in love with him. Before they even met in person, she was sending him love notes and telling people he was the man of her dreams. He agreed that she was insane. Then they ended up at a party together, and they were both drunk and made out, and she told all her friends they were dating. He didn't want to hurt her, so he agreed to go along with it. They've been dating for about 4 months now, and lost their virginity to each other. I've met the girl in person, and it only confirmed that she's a nut. It frustrates me that he doesn't heed my warnings, and I know when he wants to break up with her, she's going to freak out on him, and he'll turn to me for help. How can I show him that she's nuts? Or, when they break up, should I still be there for him, even though I warned him from the very beginning that she was a handful of crazy?

All I have to say is that somone who has sex with a virgin who they believe to be "off their rocker" is either just as crazy, extremely selfish and/or extrememly cruel. Most likely a little of each. If you're smart you'll stay out of the whole mess and perhaps take some inventory of your friendships. Unless you like living in drama-rama-land, these kinds of friendships will make YOU crazy.

You've done your job as a friend and warned him about her. Now, you just need to let things happen as they may. Leave him alone and let him see for himself how she is and if/when they do break up and he needs you - then be there for him, thats what friends do.
But, if you butt in now and try to break them up or something he is just going to see you as being the one who is a nutjob and can't be happy for him or mind your own business. Just be a good friend, be there for him, and when it's all said and done see what happens.
