May need more information. Do you get an error message? Typically if you are trying to delete temporary internet files and they are not deleting it may be that they are in use. This can happen if you have a browser still open (even if you don't see a window the process may be running). Temporary Internet files is also the area targetted by most adware. If you've picked up adware from an email or website, it may be running from the temporary internet files.

Probably because you are still on the internet; I don't think there's a way to stop temp files from starting. They start as soon as you turn on your computer.

Go to the Toolbar and then choose TOOLS, when the menu drops down choose, OPTIONS then set the Privacy for deleting files when Netscape, IE closes. If your on IE, this should be under Edit, Preferences. Good luck!

What browser are you using? Konquorer, IE, Firefox, Safari? Temp files include cookies, which are created whenever you visit a website, so if you delete them, more will be added when you visit new sites. :)

Easy two points
because those files are actually in use or are marked by the comptuer as being in use, basically that is the same thing as far as your computer is concerned. restart and you should be able to delete them
