I suppose you are a person who is identifying with your individuality. You would probably be called a traitor if you joined the armed forces of the other country if you chose to move there...

If he still lives in the country that he hates, then he should probably move to that country that he loves for his own happiness. If we are at war with that country, then you would be labeled a traitor, and then I would recommend you tread lightly.

An ideological difference of social and political nature.

As for traitorism or whatnot - the Founding Fathers would be called terrorists, traitors, and so forth had they not beat the British. Food for thought.
